eco-union is a not-for-profit multidisciplinary association which bring together professionals, who are united in a common interest of environmental services and sustainable development. Since its creation in 2005, eco-union has worked for the promotion of environmental values, within all sectors of society: - Local Authorities - Businesses; Professionals - Associations & Foundations; Citizens It´s aim to be an agent of change, training and educating citizens, enabling them to form constructive and critical opinions about environmental management and sustainable development. Corporative Image
The eco-union logo was designed in 2005, by the illustrator Iván Martí Vidal. The imperfect open circle represents the earth and its finite resources, which humans need to live, the central symbol representing human beings and their ecosystem, home, city, continent etc.

Members and collaborators eco-union Team - (Members)  | IDOIA ARAUZO, from Eibar (Gipuzkoa), has a degree in Chemical Sciences (University of the Basque Country), specialising in Industrial Chemistry (Technical University of Berlin), MSc Engineering & Renewable Energy Management (ICT, Barcelona) and Systems Application of Geographical Information in Environmental Management (ICT, Barcelona), as well as a postgraduate course in Energy Planning & Sustainable Development (University of Oslo). |  | JOSE ARRIBAS, from Segovia, has a degree in Administration & Company Management from the Complutense University of Madrid. He also studied at the Technical University of Berlin (TUB). |  | SILVIA MONTOYA, from Málaga, has a degree in Translation & Interpretation from the University of Malaga. She also studied at the University of Humboldt in Berlin. She received a masters in TICS New Technologies in Translation from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and an Expert Course on Environmental Communication (Barcelona, IUSC). | | JÉRÉMIE FOSSE, from Paris, has a BSc in Industrial Engineering who qualified at the School of Engineers INSA in Lyon, France, specialising in Industrial Organisation and has received a MBA in ESADE. | | JESICA FERRER, from Barcelona, is a technical architect, who qualified at the Polytechnic-University of Catalunya (UPC), and trained in Interior Design at EINA (UAB – Autonomous University of Barcelona). Her fields of specialisation are sustainable restoration of buildings and earth architecture. She has actively participated with the College of Quantity Surveyors, Barcelona in the project ‘Rehabimed’, which was about the restoration of the traditional Mediterranean Architectural Cultural Heritage. She has also worked for the environmental department of the College of Quantity Surveyors. She is a co-founder of eco-union. Contact:

Experiencia laboral en multinacionales de varios sectores industriales y procedencia diversa (Francia, Estados unidos y España). Actualmente trabaja en el sector de alimentación en Barcelona en el departamento de gestión de compras de bienes y servicios y en el fomento activo de la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa. |  | KATARINA MRKONJIC, de Belgrado, doctora en arquitectura (Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña). Co-fundadora de Reciclarq, una asociacón sin animo de lucro destinada a la fusión entre la arquitectura y el reciclaje/reutilización. Coordinadora técnica de la University Network for Architectural and Urban Sustainability (UNAUS) - red de cooperación entre universidades de Barcelona, Hanoi y Milán y del curso semipresencial "Advanced Technologies for Sustainable Architecture, Urban Development and Recovery". Experiencia docente universitaria en los cursos de pre-grado y post-grado. Actividad profesional en varios estudios de arquitectura en Barcelona y Belgrado. Es miembro de eco-union desde 2009. | Personal Staff  | MARIA CATALÀ, de Barcelona, es licenciada en Ciencias Ambientales (UAB), Postgrado en Instrumentos de Gestión del Territorio (UPC). Tiene una experiencia laboral variada en distintas áreas del medio ambiente dentro de empresas y entidades del sector: consultoría ambiental, entidades de educación ambiental y Col·legi d'Ambientòlegs de Catalunya (COAMB). También ha realizado proyectos de viviendas bioclimáticas en un gabinete de arquitectura en La Isla Reunión, Francia.
